NOE CHEE
​

NOE IS A KAMEHAMEHA GRADUATE AND AN ALL-CONFERENCE SOCCER PLAYER FOR WILLAMETTE UNIVERSITY FROM 1991-1995. AT WILLAMETTE SHE BEGAN HER TRAINING AS AN ATHLETIC TRAINER AND GRADUATED WITH A DEGREE IN EXERCISE SCIENCE AND SPORTS MEDICINE. NOE THEN ATTENDED GRADUATE SCHOOL IN GRONINGEN, THE NETHERLANDS FOR TWO YEARS OF HANDS-ON, RIGOROUS TRAINING IN JOINT MOBILIZATION AND SOFT TISSUE MASSAGE. NOE RETURNED HOME TO THE ISLANDS AND HAS PRACTICED LOCALLY SINCE 1999. SHE HAS EARNED POST-GRADUATE CERTIFICATION IN AUSTRALIAN MAITLAND MANUAL THERAPY TECHNIQUE. OUTSIDE OF THE CLINIC, NOE CAN BE FOUND SURFING AT BOWLS OR HANGING OUT WITH HER SONS.

BART KELLNER
​

BART HAS BEEN PRACTICING SINCE 1998. PRIOR TO 2000, HE LIVED IN MISSOULA, MONTANA WHERE HE TREATED HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE LEVEL ATHLETES AT NORTHERN ROCKIES REHABILITATION AND ATHLETIC TRAINING CENTER. HE WAS AN ALL-CONFERENCE FOOTBALL PLAYER FOR WILLAMETTE UNIVERSITY FROM 1988-1991, WORKED ON HIS MASTER’S DEGREE IN EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY AT OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY, AND EARNED HIS GRADUATE DEGREE IN PHYSICAL THERAPY IN GRONINGEN. BART RECEIVED HIS MANUAL THERAPY CERTIFICATION FROM THE CANADIAN BASED NORTH AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF MANUAL THERAPY (NAIOMT). WHEN NOT IN THE CLINIC (WHICH IS MORE OFTEN THAN NOE WOULD LIKE), BART SPENDS HIS TIME SURFING, RUNNING, COACHING AND TRAVELING TO SURF, SKI, AND SNOWBOARD WITH HIS WIFE AND TWO BOYS.

TARYN FUKUROKU
​

TARYN GREW UP IN MAUI, GRADUATED FROM MAUI HIGH WHERE SHE PLAYED SOCCER AND BASKETBALL.  SHE PLAYED SOCCER FOR UH, EARNING FIRST TEAM WAC HONORS IN 2006 – 2008 AND WAC PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN 2008.  TARYN IS FOURTH IN CAREER GOALS SCORED. AFTER WINNING “OFFICE MANAGER OF THE YEAR” IN 2012, TARYN LEFT FOR NEW YORK, RETURNING IN 2015 WITH HER DOCTORATE OF PHYSICAL THERAPY.  SHE BRINGS HER MOTTO OF “ALWAYS LOOK TO SCORE” BACK TO FYSIO.  IN HER FREE TIME, TARYN RUNS, SURFS, AND SHOPS.

Katie Tatsuno
​

Katie grew up in Hilo and was part of the state champion golf team from Waiakea High School in 2001.  She received her Bachelors degree in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis and went on to get her Doctor of Physical Therapy from USC.  She has experience with orthopedic and sports injuries as well as pediatric conditions including children with cerebral palsy, down’s syndrome and developmental delays. When not working Katie enjoys sleeping, trying out new restaurants, group exercise classes, and most importantly hanging out with her son.

Kari Oki
​

A 5' 1" former standout basketball player from Wahiawa and Iolani School, Kari received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012.  She spent 10 years at Rehab Hospital of The Pacific before gleefully jumping at the chance to run our Waipio clinic. 

Kari loves cats, her boyfriend, long socks, her Wavestorm surfboard.....and singing karaoke!

Celine

Celine Lum
​

Celine grew up on Oahu where she found her passion for physical therapy. She’s an avid runner, surfer, and cyclist. In 2015 she earned a Hawaii State Champion title in the pole vault and competed at the collegiate level for 4 years at PLNU. Celine earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at San Diego State University and as a student PT, she conducted a research study based on the rehabilitation of SDSU’s Adapted Athletes. Celine’s goal is to get her patients back to doing the activities that make their lives fun and meaningful." In her free time she surfs, tries to keep up with her uncle on a bike, and dreams of clearing 15 feet in the pole vault.
